This year marks a major milestone for Hull Self Store – 25 years of proudly serving the people of Hull and the surrounding area.
Back in 2000, we made history as the very first self-storage business to open in the city. At the time, self-storage was a new concept for many, but we saw a need – and a future – in offering people space, security, and peace of mind.
What started as a small, family-run business has grown into one of Hull’s most trusted names in storage. Over the years, we’ve expanded our facilities, modernised our systems, and stayed true to the values we were built on: reliability, customer service, and community.
From homeowners needing temporary space during a move, expanding families, to businesses storing stock and documents, Hull Self Store has been the go-to solution for thousands of customers. We’ve watched the city change, but through all the changes, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to making storage simple, secure, and stress-free.
Being the first in Hull wasn’t just about opening our doors – it was about introducing a whole new way for people to take control of their space. We’re proud to have set the standard for self-storage in the region, and even prouder that we’ve been part of so many people’s stories along the way.
